This course aims to provide students with practical computer-ized knowledge in the areas of accounting and finance. Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired hands-on experience in using spreadsheet software, database management system and accounting software in financial problems and budget planning, and in constructing quality business graphics.

This course aims to develop students' ability to successfully identify, evaluate, apply and manage technology solutions to critical business and organizational problems.
The course provides students with the skills and methods to intify and evaluate current and emerging technologies and to apply them effectively in their particular professional context.
It introduces a wide range of current IT products and services and illustrating their use in a range of business applications. Products examined include Office Automation (document manage-ment and groupware); DBMS; Networking; the Internet and Intranets; Electronic Commerce; and Knowledge Work Support Systems.
