| Course Aims | This course is designed to give students a general introduction to the changes in literary concepts and the emergence of genres through Western and Chinese literature, and commentaries on the foundations and theories of the different branches of literature. For purposes of comparison and illustration, relevant Western and Chinese literary works will be introduced. |
