Aims and Objectives
The programme aims to :
1.  provide training to graduates in practising accounting work and a good foundation for research work
2. train accountants to meet the large demand from industry and commerce and in public practice
3. equip students with skills in analyzing and planning which are necessary for business decisionmaking and for the promotion of the economic development and prosperity of society.
 
 
Award & Professional Qualification
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and be eligible for the professional exemption from various professional accounting bodies (including HKICPA, United KingdomĦĤs ACCA, CIMA, AIA, Canadian CMA, CGA).
 
 
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants* must:
1. have passed the HKCEE with at least six E grade subjects or above, including Chinese and
English; and
have passed Chinese Language and Culture and Use of English in the Hong Kong Advanced Supplementary Level ('AS' Level) Examination, plus passing at least one Advanced Level ('A' Level) subject in Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination in one sitting or equivalent;
2. Associate Degree Holders; or
3. have attained equivalent education standards from overseas countries.
