By providing a business degree with a specialisation in law, the programme will expose
students to the interface between business and law and enable graduates to make an effective
contribution in an increasingly regulated business environment. |
| 2. |
The programme recognises the importance of Hong Kong as an international business and
financial centre and the growing importance of China in the global economy, equipping
graduates with the knowledge and skills to operate effectively in that environment. |

The flexible programme allows students to study diverse areas or, through the provision of
study 'concentrations', to undertake further areas of specialisation in law and/or business. |

The programme helps students to develop critical, analytical and independent minds. |

The programme enhances students' competence in written and oral communication in

| Aims and Objectives |
| 1. |
Equip graduates with critical thinking skills and a capacity for independent thought. |

Impart an understanding of the interface between law and business and the role of law in
achieving effective and ethical business dealings. |

| Minimum Entry Requirements |
| Applicants* must: |
| 1. |
have passed the HKCEE with at least six E grade subjects or above, including Chinese and
English; and
have passed Chinese Language and Culture and Use of English in the Hong Kong Advanced
Supplementary Level ('AS' Level) Examination, plus passing at least one Advanced Level ('A'
Level) subject in Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination in one sitting or equivalent; |

have attained equivalent education standards from overseas countries. |
