| Course Aims |
This course aims to help you to develop your understanding and competence as manager or aspiring manager. In order to achieve this, we want to help you to increase your awareness that management is a process and not a series of unique events. For this to happen, you will need to know the fundamental principles and theories developed to explain what managers do, and the ways in which managers have pursued their objectives. More importantly, we want the course to help you to improve your performance as a manager, or to increase your understanding of what a good manager does. |
