Course Aims |
This course aims at introducing
the historical development, basic concepts and techniques of psychoanalysis to
students. Students are required to critically reflect upon the dialogue
between psychoanalysis and other schools of psychology in a variety of areas
including structures of the mind, psychic development, dreams,
psychopathology, psychotherapy, sexuality, and culture. Empirical findings
relevant to the issues under enquiry will also be introduced. |
