From the academic year 2017/18 onwards, students admitted into Year 1 shall complete a total of 12 credits of General Education courses consisting of 3 credits in each of the four main areas listed below in order to fulfil graduation requirements:

The purpose of this programme is to facilitate the transfer of students from Hong Kong Shue Yan University to the second year of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics programme or Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics programme at the University of Leicester, UK. It is designed to train students in modern economic analysis and its application to the problems of business and public policy. HKSYU students who achieve a GPA of 2.7 or above, as well as fulfill the relative language requirements, will be eligible to continue their studies on the BSc Economics (Hons) or BA Economics (Hons) programme at the University of Leicester.
