張子丯先生
香港廣告及電影導演/編劇/製作人/演員。現為香港電影導演會（HKFDG） 會員。
畢業於加拿大皇后大學電影系。2010年回港後即被「拾月堂」聘請參與《Contagion》、《Johnny English 2》、《The Bachelorette》等等荷里活電影及電視製作。其後開設製作公司「Moving Pictures」，作品主要包括微電影、廣告、MV等等，至今執導作品約70部。
首部電影執導作品為韓星李泰利主演的華語動作電影《吃貨神探》，2018年於香港院線上映。
2020年進修入讀由劉偉強導演開設的《第一屆香港導演會- 導演大師班Master Class》。
其中得獎作品有短片《有拖冇欠》，於第8屆創+作微電影比賽中獲得「最佳微電影金獎」及「最佳劇本」。現為「創+作」微電影比賽評審團隊之一。
曾擔任第38及39屆「香港電影金像獎」專業評審。
尹光先生
被稱為「廟街歌王」的尹光，在歌壇縱橫超過60年，他演繹的粵語流行曲詼諧鬼馬、諷刺時弊，自創的歌詞更是妙趣橫生、幽默不俗，充分反映了香港七 、八十年代的本土文化，受到各階層觀眾的熱烈歡迎，每首歌曲都瑯瑯上口，廣受歡迎。
身為香港的本土標誌和Cult Icon，尹光在2000年代勇於嘗試改變曲風，挑戰Rap歌在網路上大受歡迎，深受年輕歌迷追捧。
2023年，尹光獲得網友利用AI科技製作的合成歌曲，在網路上瘋傳，使他的人氣再度飆升。 隨後他推出新曲《Dear Myself》，與「AI尹光」對唱，回顧自己的演藝生涯，受到了廣泛的讚賞。 聽過的人都稱讚它動聽且感人，有網友甚至留言稱「第一次聽尹光會聽到想喊」。 2023年，與時並進的尹光繼續突破自我，以79歲高齡再次踏上紅館舉行《尹光WAN K. 宇宙巡邏演唱會》，並首次晉身《[叱吒我最喜愛男歌手》最後五強，創造新紀錄！

The Shue Yan University research team led by Dr. Lee Ka Man, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Communication, tracked how Chinese martial arts masters break through territorial boundaries to inherit the skills and essence through mass communication, interpersonal communication, and organizational communication over the past few decades. In recent years, they have further utilized cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence to disseminate the artistry of martial arts.
The team is delighted to release the findings with local and overseas Chinese martial arts masters, followed by an exhibition to showcase precious historical documents. Martial arts enthusiasts are welcomed to join the event and engage in a virtual journey to meet Ving Tsun and Tai Chi grandmasters.

SYUJC Newsletter Mar Edition
The latest SYUJC Newsletter features JC alumni Patrick Cheung’s sharing on his career pivot from journalism to public relations. A seasoned political reporter who had worked across multiple print and digital media outlets, Patrick is now serving Hong Kong Tourism Board, with his new role aiming to bridge the information gap. The newsletter also reported on earlier events including the Chinese Martial Arts and Sports Culture Communication exhibition and the JMC Talk with Jennifer Lee, Assistant General Manager - Social Innovation at New World Development.
JMC Talk: Jackson Wan Kwong and Fred Cheung
The JMC Talk on March 19, 2024 invited cult icon Jackson Wan Kwong and artist-director Fred Cheung to Shue Yan campus for an inter-generational dialogue. The event, titled “Melody from Temple Street to Metaverse”, had the speakers delved into the use of Artificial Intelligence in music and film production. Both speakers agreed that the live experience performed by artists – sometimes imperfect – could never be replaced by AI.

In the JMC Talk on Feb 27, 2024, Jennifer Lee, Assistant General Manager - Social Innovation at New World Development, came to Shue Yan campus to shed light on the dynamics of social influencers. Jennifer, who launches the “KOA Academy” - a marketing and social media agency that promotes brand values and makes marketing campaigns socially viral, said it is ultimately down to the quality and quantity of content creation that define the success of a KOL career.
