A seasoned political reporter who had worked across multiple print and digital media outlets, Patrick is now serving Hong Kong Tourism Board, with his new role aiming to bridge the information gap. JMC Talk: Jackson Wan Kwong and Fred Cheung

The JMC Talk on March 19, 2024 invited cult icon Jackson Wan Kwong and artist-director Fred Cheung to Shue Yan campus for an inter-generational dialogue. The event, titled “Melody from Temple Street to Metaverse”, had the speakers delved into the use of Artificial Intelligence in music and film production. Both speakers agreed that the live experience performed by artists – sometimes imperfect – could never be replaced by AI.

JMC Talk: Jennifer Lee

In the JMC Talk on Feb 27, 2024, Jennifer Lee, Assistant General Manager - Social Innovation at New World Development, came to Shue Yan campus to shed light on the dynamics of social influencers. Jennifer, who launches the “KOA Academy” - a marketing and social media agency that promotes brand values and makes marketing campaigns socially viral, said it is ultimately down to the quality and quantity of content creation that define the success of a KOL career.
