JOUR 300 News Editing
(pre-requisite: Jour. 221-2 News Reporting and Writing in Chinese)

This course aims at teaching students skills of news editing. They will learn to work with up-to-date computerized equipment and the traditional techniques to do the copy editing, headline writing, page design, editing and sub-editing of news pieces and prose polishing.
