JOUR 340 TV News and Public Affairs Reporting
   (pre-requisite: Jour. 201 T.V. Production and Practicum)

This course aims at acquainting students with the theory and practice of television news production. Areas to be covered include techniques of TV news gathering, script-writing, interviewing techniques, production, on-air presentation, and the general management of newsroom. The course provides practical exercises and assignments to prepare students for summer internship in TV stations.
