Essential Functions:
· Teach undergraduate courses within the Department of Journalism and Communication, including journalism and communication, principles of advertising and marketing, communication theories, communication research method, public relations writing, advertising strategies and design, public relations disciplines, integrated marketing strategies and planning, and other courses related to the candidate's areas of expertise
·  Contribute to the programme development in the field of public relations and advertising
·  Work cooperatively within the Department of Journalism and Communication

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·  Knowledge and demonstrated experience related to using various communication platforms
·  Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
·  Ability to assess student ability and adjust teaching, as appropriate
·  Ability to advise students

Education:
·  Preferred: Ph.D. in areas of public relations and advertising or a related field
·  Required: Master's Degree in Journalism and Communication or a related field

Experience:
·  Preferred: significant professional experience (news experience is a plus); higher education teaching experience in PRA
·  Required: part-time/full-time teaching experience in public relations and advertising

Equipment:
·  Good writing skills in both Chinese and English
·  Highly organized, detail oriented and enthusiastic
·  Self-motivated and able to work independently with development growth
·  Proficiency in working with popular social media platforms and apps, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, WordPress, etc.
