The Bachelor of Science / Arts (Honours) in Economics programme is divided into 2 parts. Part I is conducted at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (1 year’s studies) and Part II is conducted at the University of Leicester, UK (2 years’ studies). The degree awarded is that of the partner institute.
Students who have achieved a Grade Point Average of 2.7 or above, with at least a C in all courses, have obtained a score of 6.5 in IELTS or 4 in HKDSE English Language will be eligible to transfer to the second year of the programme at the University of Leicester.

Part I Programme in Hong Kong Shue Yan University for 2020/21 intake is HKD $72,190, payable in two installments (not eligible to apply for non-means-tested subsidies).
The University of Leicester offers an annual scholarship of ￡2,000 for successful transferees. The scholarship is subject to change each year and is at the discretion of the partner institute.
