Extending HKSYU’s Legacy

“A good tree makes a good shelter,” as the old saying goes. Indeed, it takes decades for a single seed to mature into a strong, lush tree.

A towering tree is founded on strong roots as well as plenty of nurture and care. Today, HKSYU (and its predecessor Shue Yan College) has flourished into a cradle of leaders for society, and it can be called the “roots” in the lives of our alumni. For the University to continue to thrive, it needs love and support, and our alumni are best placed to offer that.

HKSYU nurtured us as we grew and thrived. Today, we have established ourselves in different fields, and our success comes from the education we have received from the University. We wish our alumni a prosperous future, and we also hope that the young students at HKSYU today can flourish in the same way as we did in the past. Every bit of your contribution strengthens our roots – a cradle for generations of leaders to come.
