The Government recently announced the membership of the Antiquities Advisory Board in its new term, Professor CHAN Ching Selina, Academic Vice President of HKSYU was appointed as a new member for a two-year term. Prof. CHAN Ching is a professor in the Department of Sociology, her research interests focus on cultural heritage and collective memories, food and identities, religion and intangible cultural heritage, as well as kinship, lineage and colonialism. She is also a member of the Sub-committee on ICH Items under the Intangible Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust.

學術副校長陳蒨教授獲委任古諮會成員。
陳蒨教授是社會學系教授，主要研究領域為文化傳承與集體記憶、食物和身份、宗教與非物質文化遺產，以及親屬關係、血統和殖民主義。她同時為非物質文化遺產諮詢委員會下設的非遺項目委員會成員及衞奕信勳爵文物信託受託人委員會成員。

行政長官再度委任蘇彰德先生為古物諮詢委員會主席， 1 3 名委員獲續任， 另有6 人獲新委任， 包括陳蒨教授、陳鎮洪先生、張瑞威教授、符展成先生、蘇祐安先生和楊偉誠博士，各人任期至2024年12月31日。

發展局局長甯漢豪表示，古諮會與政府在文物保育方面一直保持緊密合作，特別就歷史建築的評級和相關的保育方案提供寶貴意見，推動香港文物保育工作。新一屆古諮會成員來自不同界別和專業，有信心新的成員組合會為委員會的工作帶來創新意念，並期待與各成員合作。
