HKSYU Welcomes Five-Year Plan and 2026 Policy Address

Hong Kong Shue Yan University welcomes the HKSAR Government’s first Five-Year Plan and the 2026 Policy Address, which sets a clear direction for Hong Kong’s future development. This includes developing Hong Kong into an international hub for education and high-calibre talent, as well as expediting the development of the Northern Metropolis University Town. The University supports the Government’s continued efforts to promote capacity expansion and quality enhancement in post‑secondary education and to promote deeper integration among education, technology, talent and industry. We will actively align with these policy directions, nurture diverse talent for Hong Kong and contribute to the city’s long-term development through a flexible and innovative approach.

HKSYU Celebrates 55th Anniversary and Long Service Awards

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) held its 55th Anniversary Luncheon and Long Service Awards Ceremony. A total of 105 staff members, who have served the University for between 10 and 41 years, were honoured with Long Service Awards in recognition of their longstanding dedication and contributions.

HKSYU Students Embark on Hangzhou Innovation Exchange

Led by Professor Selina Chan Ching, Academic Vice President of Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU); Dr Roy Ho Kin-Hon, Associate Head of Department of Business Administration; Dr Camellia Ng Ni-na, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology; and Dr Dina Ding Jing, Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Communication, a delegation of 25 students took part in the “Hangzhou Youth Exchange and Co-Creation Programme and Hong Kong Shue Yan University — Hangzhou Innovation and Vitality Theme Research and Learning Activities”. The initiative was sponsored by the Hangzhou Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Hong Kong Hangzhou CPPCC Friendship Association.
