On 13 November 2023, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at HKSYU held a thematic lecture on "Chinese Language Curriculum and Latest Developments". Experts from the Chinese Language Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI) at the Education Bureau were invited to host the lecture, introducing the "Chinese Curriculum Guidelines" and "Proposed Key Learning Points" to nearly 90 students and faculty members. The experts provided in-depth explanations of the latest developments in "enhancing the learning of Chinese literature and culture" and "enhancing reading". They also presented a diverse range of physical and online "learning and teaching resources" and addressed student inquiries in detail. The lecture was presented by Ms. CHAN King Ping and Miss CHOW Pui Sze, who are Curriculum Development Officers(Chinese). Dr. CHOW Kin and Ms. LEE Ying Ying, Senior Curriculum Development Officers (Chinese), and Mr. MA Ho Wai, Curriculum Development Officer (Chinese), also attended the lecture.

教育局專家為仁大中文系主持中國語文課程專題講座

仁大中文系於2023年11月13日，邀請教育局課程發展處中國語文組的專家蒞臨樹仁大學主持「中國語文課程及最新發展」專題講座，向中文系近90位師生介紹「中國語文課程指引」及「建議學習重點」，並就「加強文學、中華文化的學習」及「加強閱讀」兩點最新發展深入解說。嘉賓還向中文系師生展示豐富的實體及線上「學與教資源」，亦詳細回答同學的提問。是次講座由課程發展主任（中文）陳敬萍女士及周佩詩女士擔任主講嘉賓，高級課程發展主任(中文）周健博士、李盈盈女士和課程發展主任（中文）馬浩偉先生一同出席。

楊若薇教授應邀赴上海同濟大學學術講座

仁大中文系系主任楊若薇教授於2023年12月1日，應邀赴上海同濟大學國際文化交流學院主持「中國語言文學推廣與傳統文化」系列講座，並以「漢文化標誌的筷子在草原民族中的傳用：文化接觸與文化融合的歷史體現」為主題，介紹以漢文和其他語言的文字記載、出土材料為依據，對歷史上的突厥、回鶻、契丹和蒙古等民族使用筷子的史實進行的考察。在「漢文化圈」這一熱門話題背景下，楊若薇教授分析和論證筷子這項非物質文化元素在歷史上的傳播與影響，探討漢文化與遊牧文化的接觸和融合。楊教授與出席講座的約30位師生深入討論。
