The "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Mart 2023", hosted by "Hong Kong Culture Festival", was held from 4 to 5 November 2023 at Tai Kwun. Nearly a hundred students from the Department of Sociology at HKSYU participated in the event, with two student groups receiving the "Best Booth Award," "Most Favorite Booth Award," and "Most Popular Online Booth Award."

During the two-day "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Mart 2023", HKSYU Sociology students were responsible for organizing 12 game booths and workshops, providing participants with an opportunity to experience Hong Kong's historical craftsmanship. Dr. MAK Sau Wa, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology, guided students enrolled in the course SOC308 Heritage, Culture, and Society to participate in the event. "The Intangible Cultural Heritage Earthpulse Society has been organizing the Hong Kong Cultural Festival and Intangible Cultural Heritage Mart for many years, demonstrating strong support for promoting Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage. This is their first collaboration with a university. It is highly creative for a group of Sociology students to organize all twelve intangible cultural heritage game booths. They not only convey knowledge of intangible cultural heritage but also make it fun and interesting. I am delighted by their participation in the process." said Dr. MAK.

近百位仁大社會學系學生參加「香港文化節」於2023年11月4日至5日在大館舉行的「非物質文化遺產市集2023」活動，其中有兩組學生分別獲得「最佳攤位獎」、「最喜愛攤位獎」、及「網上最具人氣攤位獎」等獎項。

為期兩天的「非物質文化遺產市集2023」，由樹仁大學社會學系同學負責12個遊戲攤位、工作坊等，讓參加者體驗香港歷史悠久的工藝技巧。仁大社會學系副教授麥秀華博士指導修讀SOC308文化、遺產和社會的學生參與活動，「非物質文化遺產地脈協會已舉辦香港文化節和非遺市集多年，一直非常支持香港推廣非物質文化遺產，這次屬首次與大學合作。由一眾社會學系學生包辦所有12個非遺遊戲攤位，極具創意，既能傳遞非遺知識，好玩又有趣，我也為他們在過程中投入參與感到十分高興。」

《樹仁簡訊》訪問4位有份參加活動的蘇永健同學、任穎珊同學、徐徫傑同學和朱瀅棟同學，其中蘇永健同學表示，攤位從策劃到執行都由一眾組員互相合作才可順利完成，獲獎要歸功於全部組員。蘇同學認為，這次參與大型活動的機會寶貴，可實踐課堂所學的知識，思考如何將舊時的集體回憶以新穎的方式重現。在過程中不斷思考，向公眾推廣香港非物質文化遺產的同時，自己亦能加深對這些文化的認識。
朱瀅棟同學則認為這次活動對他們未來就業帶來一定幫助。「一般課堂的功課多以寫文章為主，活動讓我和組員把知識實踐在現實，學到如何有效向目標群眾傳遞訊息是我們在活動中最大的得著。」

任穎珊同學則向未來有機會參與同類型活動的師弟師妹提供建議，鼓勵他們與組員多溝通，「籌備活動講求時間管理和合作，當組員有共同目標，整個過程就會變得更順利，不需要把活動想得太複雜，有時身邊簡單的事物都能夠有特別的效果。」至於徐徫傑同學表示，「參與這些活動我們更要去想如何玩得開心，不要把這些機會看待成一份功課，要用心去感受整個活動帶來的喜悅。當同學享受過程，自然會有所得着。」
