In order to strengthen educational cooperation and exchanges between mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as to meet the learning needs of students, Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) has signed agreements with Wuhan University's Second Clinical Medical College, School of Nursing, and Wuhan Qicai Xinghua Education Technology Co., Ltd. to jointly establish three internship sites since the end of September 2023. These sites, named the "Clinical Practice & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University," the "Practice & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University," and the "Play Therapy & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University," will provide students with professional clinical practice and academic research opportunities.

In an interview with Shue Yan Newsletter, Dr. ZHOU Dehui, Associate Head at the Department of Counselling and Psychology, stated that this collaboration coincides with the 10th anniversary of the partnership between the two universities, the establishment of these internship sites aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields. Dr. Zhou emphasized the interdisciplinary nature of the internship sites, where students will receive professional guidance throughout their clinical practice or research. This comprehensive approach will enable students to gain significant benefits in terms of academic research and practical experience.

為加強內地與香港教育合作交流，以及滿足同學的學習需要，香港樹仁大學分別與武漢大學第二臨床學院及護理學院，及武漢七彩星華教育科技有限公司簽署協議書，於2023年1 1 月底起，合作共建三間實習基地，分別命名為「香港樹仁大學臨床實習及研究基地」(Clinical Practice & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University)、「香港樹仁大學實習及研究基地」(Practice & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University)及「香港樹仁大學遊戲治療實習及研究基地」(Play Therapy & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University)，為同學提供專業臨床實習及學術研究。

仁大輔導及心理學系副系主任周德慧博士接受《樹仁簡訊》訪問時表示，適逢兩校合作十周年，為進一步加強兩校在各領域上的交流而合作共建實習基地。她表示，實習基地為跨學科合作，學生參加臨床實習或研究的同時，亦會有專人全程指導，讓學生在學術研究及實踐上也能獲益良多。

周德慧博士續指，這次合作計劃不但讓同學知道現時中國內地在輔導心理或心理治療的普及發展，更能從中增加對兩地政策或文化的認識，藉此了解相關職業的需求，讓同學在畢業後有更多就業選擇。「實習基地的建立，讓仁大輔心系學生在內地有專屬的實習基地，日後就可隨時派遣學生到武漢大學進行科研或臨床實踐。與此同時，香港樹仁大學與武漢大學兩校老師的交流分享，也為學生帶來更多學術研究專業知識和經驗，從而加強兩校未來在課程上合作的可能性。」
