Professor Selina CHAN Ching, our Academic Vice President, highlighted that this ranking affirms the strength of HKSYU’s research.
HKSYU will continue its direction to develop the five “Ps.” In terms of “Programmes,” HKSYU will keep up with time and update the curriculum regularly to meet market demand and the development of the digital age.
Dr Jason CHOW, Vice President (University Administration), emphasized that HKSYU’s success is the result of the collective efforts of our scholars, students, management, and stakeholders. The university’s future direction includes continuing and deepening the development of digital humanities, promoting the integration of innovation and tradition, applying scholarship to practical levels, and encouraging students to go beyond the classroom and put their theories into practice in society.
Dr Alex LI Wang On, Associate Academic Vice President (University Research), highlighted that interdisciplinarity and digital humanities are key new development directions. As a closely-knit university, HKSYU offers many opportunities for colleagues from different fields to participate in research and teaching. Dr LI also hopes to strengthen collaboration with the industry in research and teaching, enhancing student recognition and ensuring HKSYU graduates are well-regarded by the industry.
