The event was co-hosted by President Dr Hu Fai-chung; Dr Jason Chow, Vice President (University Administration); Ms Sophia Yip, Associate Vice President (Student Affairs); Mr Calvin Lam, alumnus of the Department of Journalism and Communication and mentor of the Student Ambassadors; together with Student Ambassadors from the fourth and fifth cohorts.

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (“HKSYU”) conferred the degree of Doctor of Social Sciences, honoris causa, upon Dr Ko Wing-man at its 51st Graduation Ceremony and Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony, held on 31 January 2026. The honorary doctorate was bestowed in recognition of his distinguished achievements in public health and healthcare policy, as well as his long-standing dedication to the well-being of the community.

HKSYU Library Complex Welcomes Six New Classrooms

Hong Kong Shue Yan University has unveiled six newly constructed classrooms on the C Floor of its Library Complex, with an inauguration ceremony attended by senior management, department heads, and representatives from the architectural and construction teams.
