HKSYU Economics and Finance Student Awarded “For Our Future Scholarship”

In order to recognise and encourage local university students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance with diverse talents and a strong dedication to community service, the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation hosted the annual “For Our Future Scholarship” on 28 April 2026.

 

Joy Cai YuJing, a Year 4 student from the Department of Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, was awarded the Scholarship, receiving HK$50,000.

Community Service Project: Mediation Workshop for Building Dialogue and Resolving Conflict

As part of the anniversary programme series, the Department of Law and Business at HKSYU, together with the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC), organised the “Mediation Workshop for Youth 2026” on 16 May 2026. Bringing together teams from six secondary schools, the workshop offered more than 20 students a practical introduction to the core concepts and skills of mediation.
