The "Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2024 (SCHKM)" took place on 21 January this year. CHAN Ho, a first-year student from the Department of Social Work and a member of the HKSYU Athletics Team, participated in the race. With a time of 1:14:47, he won the half-marathon championship for the Men's Junior group, competing against a total of 28 participants. Additionally, he achieved an impressive 11th position among the 1,267 participants in the Challenge Race.

今年的「渣打香港馬拉松」在1月21日舉行，香港樹仁大學 田徑隊成員陳灝（社工系一年級）以1小時14分鐘47秒的成 績，勇奪渣馬男子半馬拉青年組冠軍(參加人數共28人)，在 挑戰組總成績則排名第11(參加人數共1267人）。

陳灝表示，今次準備渣馬的時間不算多，所以事前對名次 和成績都沒有太大期望。他稱，「之前兩次半馬比賽均破了 自己的個人記錄，對自己已有信心，今次的結果更是喜出 望外。」他續指，自去9月起入住仁大宿舍後，要經常跑斜 路，遂成了今次勝利的關鍵。「渣馬賽道中，過了西隧的大 斜路後，我仍能夠維持同一速度，也能應付高速公路的暗 斜，加上比賽當日天氣不錯，使整個比賽過程感覺良好。」

陳灝又感謝與他一起報名參賽，以及終點等候的朋友和支持者，好讓他在良好心理質素下，跑出理想時間。

今年的「渣打香港馬拉松」約有74000人，全馬、半馬和10公里分別在尖沙咀彌敦道和天后東區走廊起步。
