HKSYU hosted its 50th Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral, MPhil, Master's, and Bachelor's Degrees between 28 and 29 November 2024. The ceremony was presided over by Mr Kenneth TING, SBS, JP, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Dr Francis CHEUNG, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors, Professor Danny WONG, Chairman of the University Council, and Professor HU Yao-su, Provost of HKSYU.

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) will confer the degree of Doctor of Social Sciences honoris causa on Dr. Jacqueline Pullinger and the degree of Doctor of Business Administration honoris causa on Dr. Shih Wing-ching at the 50th Graduation Ceremony and Honorary Doctorate Presentation Ceremony on 29 November 2024.
