HKSYU Mentorship Programme: Passing the Baton to the New Generation

We are thrilled to announce that around 80 students and mentors participated in this year’s HKSYU Mentorship Programme. This year, we had the honor of hosting a workshop by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, emphasizing the importance of communication and networking.

Professor HU Yao-su, HKSYU’s Provost and HKSYU senior management members officiated the kick-off ceremony. Ms YIP Sau Yin, Sophia, Associate Vice President (Student Affairs) also expressed gratitude to our previous mentors for their invaluable contributions.

Over the past 21 years, the HKSYU Mentorship Programme has benefitted over 800 students, providing them with insights and opportunities to expand their social networks through mentors with extensive industry knowledge.

Hats off to HKSYU graduates

HKSYU hosted its 50th Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral, MPhil, Master's, and Bachelor's Degrees between 28 and 29 November 2024.

HKSYU confers Honorary Doctorates on Dr. Jacqueline Pullinger and Mr. Shih Wing-ching

HKSYU conferred the degree of Doctor of Social Sciences, honoris causa, on St. Stephen's Society founder Dr. Jacqueline Pullinger and the degree of Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa, on Centaline Group Chairman Mr. Shih Wing-ching at its 50th Graduation Ceremony and Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony.

Hong Kong Shue Yan University Launches Hong Kong’s First International Foundation Year Programme

In September 2024, HKSYU proudly launched Hong Kong’s first International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP), welcoming 15 international students from South Korea, India, Pakistan, and Myanmar.
