Shue Yan obtains a HK$15+ million research funding from Research Grants Council

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) has been successful in obtaining HK$15 million funding for 8 research projects under the Research Grants Council (RGC)’s 2022/2023 Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector, ranking the first by total amount awarded among all participating institutions.

The President’s List Certificate Award Ceremony

The President’s List Award Ceremony was held on 30 September at Hong Kong Shue Yan University to commend students from Year 1 to Year 3 who achieved a yearly GPA of 3.5 or above in the academic year of 2021-2022. A total of 108 students were on the list of recipients.

Literature-inspired Vision & International Recognition

Shue Yan won two international design awards for presenting the University's vision with a classical quote "Paths are made by men" is from Mr. Lu Xun's "Hometown (Guxiang)" in "The Scream (Nahan)". Since 2020, the Admissions Office has been using this famous quote as a publicity slogan to promote the University’s vision and values.

Shue Yan hosted the Cross-Strait and Four-region Counselling Summit Forum 2022

The University held the "Summit Forum on Psychological Counselling” in higher institutions across the four regions, inviting more than 300 contemporary counselling professionals from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to conduct online and offline simultaneous sessions for academic exchanges and sharing practical experience.
