SYU Information Day 2023 attracted nearly a thousand participants with its theme of 'Shue Yan Is Me'
The SYU Information Day 2023 was successfully held on November 18th. With over 40 activities including thematic talks, workshops, sharing sessions, ceremonies, campus tours, and experiential games, along with 20 departmental and academic supporting booths, the event attracted nearly a thousand local and overseas students, parents, teachers, and SYU alumni. The number of attendees was almost double compared to last year.

QS Asian University Rankings: Shue Yan takes the lead among Hong Kong's private universities
The QS World University Rankings: Asia 2024 are now live! In the 16th edition of the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2024, 856 institutions are showcased from 25 countries and territories. Hong Kong has ten subsidised and private universities on the list, with Hong Kong Shue Yan University ranking 351-400, making it the highest-ranked private university in Hong Kong. Peking University continues to maintain its position as the top university in Asia, while the University of Hong Kong has risen two places to rank second, surpassing the National University of Singapore and Tsinghua University.

Workshops and Mini-Tutorial Videos on HKSYU ChatGPT
Recognizing the significant potential of AI in education and the challenges it brings, the ATLC has organized a series of workshops for teaching staff in September 2023. These workshops feature AI experts and award-winning teachers. Additionally, the TLDO has developed an accompanying series of tutorial videos to introduce the basic operation and share tips for crafting prompts with HKSYU ChatGPT.
