On 30 August, Dr. Connie Yuen, Head of the Department of Applied Data Science, Director of iFREE GROUP Innovation and Research Centre, and Director of the Big Data Laboratory, attended the IBM Technology Day and shared how HKSYU actively develops digital humanities under the epidemic to ensure that the University remains competitive in the digital age.

Dr. WONG Ka Ki, Assistant Professor and Associate Head (Programme) of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature was decorated with the Award for Young Artist (Art criticism) at the 16th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards

Dr. WONG Ka Ki, Assistant Professor and Associate Head (Programme) of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, has been engaged in the study of Hong Kong Literature and Modern and Contemporary Literature for many years, she has won the 42th Youth Literature Awards (Literature Criticism). Earlier she was decorated with the Award for Young Artist (Art criticism) at the 16th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards, she believes this award proves that Hong Kong literature criticism is still worth working on and hopes that more people can be motivated to participate in Hong Kong literature criticism.
