
HKSYU Encourages Inter-departmental Collaboration in Teaching and Research
At a university academic meeting in early May, Professor CHAN Ching Selina, Academic Vice President of HKSYU discussed the inter-departmental collaboration in teaching and research with the University senior management, departmental heads, and faculty and staff. Prof. CHAN said that the University encourages departments to actively promote and disseminate the curriculum features and latest information, as well as the outstanding achievements of students and alumni through various means, including continuously updating departmental websites and social media pages, producing videos, and creating departmental YouTube channels.

HKSYU Department of Applied Data Science Seminar on children in Dyslexia
The theme of the seminar was the application of early dyslexia identification and training games for treatment for early child. Students and practitioners from related fields were invited to exchange ideas about the use of new technology for helping dyslexia children.

HKSYU Resumes Physical Athletic Meet Introducing Sports Technology for Innovative Training in the New Academic Year
The 33rd HKSYU Athletic Meet was held at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground on 8 March. With the easing of the pandemic, the class arrangements for the new academic year have returned to normal mode, with the resumption of physical sports activities. After three years, the physical Athletic Meet could finally be held again, allowing the student athletes to sweat heavily on the sports field, demonstrate their skills, and showcase their talent.

HKSYU Dragon Boat Team's Opening Match in the USFHK Championship Gaining Experience More Than Results
HKSYU Dragon Boat Team, the first water sports team of the University participated in the USFHK Dragon Boat Championship for the first time this year, a total of 15 male and 5 female team members took this opportunity to compete with other tertiary institutions.
